HLP Event: Food For Thought: Nutrition Guide & Winter Smoothie Recipe
Our guest presenter for this event is Veronica Ramirez, owner of Vero Pure Green, Health Coaching Services. She will be providing nutrition tips and teaching us how to prepare a healthy and delicious winter chocolate and oat smoothie. If you'd like to following along please make sure to have the following ingredients on hand:
Ingredients: (makes 2 smoothies)
• 6 tbsp of oats
• 1 tbsp of unsalted peanut or almond
butter (use sunflower butter for peanut
allergies)
• 1 ripe banana
• 2 1/2 cups of coconut milk, or any
nondairy milk
• 1 tsp cacao powder
• Cinnamon powder
