HLP Event: Exploring Gratitude with Art Therapy
Participants will learn about using art therapy to communicate your emotions and feelings. We will explore and communicate feelings of gratitude by creating a collage.
Art Materials needed for session:
1. 11x17 paper, poster board or cardboard will work as a base for making the
collage.
2. Magazines, flyers, computer printed pictures, photographs (please make sure
you are comfortable cutting the picture and gluing it to create the collage).
3. Glue, glue stick or tape
4. Scissors
5. Markers
6. Pencil
The session will be led by guest presenter Kim Traina-Nolan, MA, LAC, LCAT, ATR-BC, ATCS. Kim is an art psychotherapist with a private practice and specialty in serving Millennial and Gen Z population in Boonton, N.J.
