Food for Thought: Black Bean Fudge Brownies
Our guest presenter for this event is Veronica Ramirez, owner of Vero Pure Green, Health Coaching Services. She will be providing nutrition tips and teaching us how to prepare a healthy and delicious recipe. If you'd like to following along please make sure to have the following ingredients on hand:
• 15-oz can black beans rinsed and drained
• 3 large eggs (or 3 flax seed eggs as a healthier option)
• 3 Tbsp flavorless oil, sunflower, or coconut oil
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1⁄4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
• 2⁄3 cup sugar 120 g (or sugar substitute)
• 1⁄2 tsp baking powder
• 1⁄4 tsp salt
• 1⁄2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
• 1⁄2 tsp finely ground or instant coffee (optional)
