Art Therapy Session

The American Art Therapy Association defines Art therapy as an integrative mental health and human services profession that enriches the lives of individuals, families, and communities through active art-making, creative process, applied psychological theory, and human experience within a psychotherapeutic relationship.

Materials needed: White paper, drawing tools (such as markers, colored pencils, pastels, paint etc)
Whatever you have on hand should work!

Kim Traina-Nolan, MA, LAC, LCAT, ATR-BC, ATCS is an art psychotherapist with a private practice and specialty in serving Millennial and Gen Z population in Boonton, N.J. She is an adjunct professor for the clinical mental health counseling degree program with specialization in Art Therapy at Caldwell University. She is a graduate of New York University and received a Masters degree in Art Therapy. She also holds a Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Boston Graduate School of Psychoanalysis. She is currently an advanced candidate of Modern Psychoanalysis at ACAP in Livingston, NJ.
