NJSAP: Food for Thought: Pumpkin Bread
Our guest presenter for this event is Veronica Ramirez, owner of Vero Pure Green, Health Coaching Services. She will be providing nutrition tips and teaching us how to prepare a healthy and delicious recipe. If you'd like to follow along please make sure to have the below ingredients on hand:
• 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
• 3/4 cup of whole wheat flour
• 2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon
• 1⁄2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
• 1⁄2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1⁄2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1⁄2 teaspoon sea salt
• 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
• 1⁄2 cup milk (or oat, soy or almond milk)
• 1⁄2 cup coconut sugar
• 2 large eggs or (2 flaxseed eggs)
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
